Glitter Light Bulb Ornaments
Supplies
- Mod Podge (Can be purchased for around $6 or you can follow this recipe and make your own for around $1.50)
- Bulbs (Found in the Christmas aisle at Walmart for $0.99 for 4)
- Paintbrush
- Wax Paper
- Glitter (I purchased a pack of 12 assorted colors for $6.47 at Walmart)
- Empty container (to catch excess glitter)
Directions
- Lay wax paper out on the table
- Cover glass part of bulb with a thin layer of Mod Podge
- Sprinkle glitter color of choice over the glue covered bulb, catching excess in an empty bowl
- Tap off excess glitter
- Gently lay your bulb onto the wax paper to dry
Once your bulbs are dried, you can place them in a holiday dish as a center piece, or tie a ribbon around the bottom and hang on your Christmas tree!
*Important note* Once finished, it is no longer safe to use these bulbs, these are for decorative purpose only!
