Homemade Flubber Directions
Fun playable craft for kids to make. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT EDIBLE. It is similar to a Silly Putty/Playdoh/Slime consistency.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 bottle of glue 4.8 FL oz.
- Food coloring
- Borax
Directions:
- Put a 1/2 c water in a medium bowl and the while bottle of glue, stir together. Add a couple of drops of food coloring and stir in.
- In a different bowl add 1 cup of water, warm in the microwave for about a minute. Add 1 tablespoon of borax to the warm water until the borax dissolves. Add another 3 to 4 teaspoons to the water mixture until the borax dissolves again.
- Add the water borax mixture to the water glue mixture. And start stirring right away. When the yak is starting to form in the bowl, it can be pulled out of the bowl and start to be played with and formed. (There will be extra water left in the bowl.)
- Store in a zip lock bag.
