Ten years ago I started this page after flipping through channels on the TV and coming upon a show called extreme couponing. Though I was impressed with the savings that was occurring, I was REALLY disgusted by the hoarding and wastefulness that I saw also. The next morning I woke up on a mission! A mission to teach others how to coupon for a GOOD CAUSE! Why get 100 bottles of mustard you will not use and end up tossing, or 20 bags of litter for free that you just let sit in your basement because you do not even have a cat!

And so came my Facebook page, Wisconsin Coupon Clippers, Followed by my website Midwest Coupon Clippers.

I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined it to turn into such a huge NATIONWIDE success, and for that I thank each and everyone of you reading this! Though our  page has had its up and downs and growing pains, at the same time not only have we helped ten of thousands of people, we have also became some what of a family. I have been blessed to meet some of the most amazing people over the years, many which have became my best friends in life to this day.

Unfortunately over the last few years, couponing has slowly started to lose its interest. Though you can still get a good deal here and there, it is nothing like it used to be back in the day. Because of this fact, we slowly started to switch over to online deals and Amazon offers. Of course we will post the occasional couponing deal when we can, but they are far and few.

THEN 2020 happened! No ones life has ever, or will ever be the same again. This year my husband has lost two of this Aunts, my father has lost his lifelong best friend, all because a STUPID un-seeable enemy. With so much sadness and insanity this year, we also had growth. We learned to be family units again, families started eating around the dinner table again, and our lives SLOWED DOWN and taught us to appreciate so much we took for granted day to day. We learned to appreciate everyone and everything we have and stop taking it for granted.

In the Summer of 2020 my dear friend and sidekick Leah, who many of you know tragically lost her husband a few years back had to make a very tough decision to step down from helping on our page. Though it broke my heart to see her go, I loved and respected her even more for putting her two small children first and foremost. Balancing homeschooling them and keeping as much normalcy in their lives was top priority. I HAD NO CLUE how I was going to go into the Holiday Season on my own and keep our main page and our additional groups afloat, but somehow I managed.  (Rest assured Leah is never further then a phone call or message away and is still in the shadows doing some of her magic because god knows, somedays I would not make it through without her still)

To end the year, I got some more bad news. Sheri, our social media guru, who responds to all questions on the main page and groups, and runs our freebies page needs to step down also. As most of you know Sheri struggles daily with her MS, yet is always up at 3:30am her time (lives on the West coast) with a smile and spring in her step to greet all of you and help in anyway she can. Unfortunately Sheri’s husband is not in the best of health these days, and it is time to give him 100% of her attention, which is completely understandable.

So folks, my website, my groups, we are down to just me again. How will I move forward from here? I honestly do not have that answer, but I do know, I will not quit on you! It may be a little slower, it may take a bit longer to get to questions or respond to comments, and I may not be posting as many deals everyday and somedays maybe not at all, but I am continuing on because I know many of you depend on my page, just please be patient with me while I find a new rhythm. I ran it for years without any help, but I was younger and able to work 12 to 16 hour days back then. That is not the case anymore, my health is not as good, and honestly, after this year, I also need to put my family and friends first, and I know each and everyone of you will understand that!
