✰✰ Bacon Tips ✰✰
✰ Rinse the Bacon Under COLD water before frying! It will reduce the amount of shrinking!
✰ ALWAYS start with a cold frying pan! (If you add it to a hot frying pan you will scorch it)
✰ Take the Bacon out of the Fridge 5 Minutes before frying, It will bring the fat back to its natural stage.
✰ ALWAYS use a flat pan (Cast Iron is my favorite) and NEVER overlap the Bacon.
✰ Want to Make your Bacon in the Oven? Pre-Heat your Oven to 350 Degrees, Take TWO Cookie Sheets, Cover one Cookie Sheet with Kitchen Paper (Parchment Paper) , Lay your Bacon down, Put another sheet of Kitchen paper on top of the Bacon and then put your 2nd Cookie Sheet on top.Takes 10 to 15 minutes depending on your oven. WATCH it closely, it can burn FAST towards the end.
✰ If you do not want the house smelling like Bacon or a lot of smoke, here is a GREAT way to cook Bacon. Put your bacon in the frying pan and cover the bacon with water. Start your Bacon on a HIGH heat until it starts to boil, then switch it down to medium…ONCE all the Water has simmered away, turn your bacon down to medium-low and continue cooking until it is crisp and well brown. You will end up with PERFECT bacon every time that is NOT tough or brittle, but this method takes longer.
