Think you can not afford Disney? THINK AGAIN! If there is anything I have learned in the last ten years, it is how to save $Money$ and make it a very affordable trip!
Over the next few months, I am going to start posting tips and tricks I have learned to help all of you be able to visit “The Most Magical Place on Earth!”
The first step, Is making sure you are on Disney’s Mailing list. (Click on the picture at the top or at the bottom of this page) A few times a year you will be sent different specials that are exclusive to your family! Usually 40 percent off a hotel stay on Disney Grounds. But that is just the tip of the Castle to helping make it an affordable trip! Stay Tuned Folks…
GREAT idea! We visited Disney for the first time this year in May and I fell in love. I’m going again in 11 days with my son as a surprise. I never thought we could afford it but it’s amazing the things you can save on. It’s also given me reasons to save money in other areas just for our vacation fund. We have a trip in May planned as well and that one has been completely paid for since September.
Thanks!
I signed up for Disney! At my age, never have I been there. So I will be following you carefully. There is about 6 of us in our, well may I say somewhere in our 50’s, that love to travel together. So I will be checking back with you. Sounds awesome!!!! Blessings, Jane
I love DISNEY! I’m excited to see your tips. We recently moved to Florida (2 hours north of Orlando) and plan on getting annual passes soon. I told my mom you don’t have to get me anything for xmas but a WDW Annual Pass!! I really don’t need anything (other than a job haha)!!
I’m usually in charge of our vacations and it really is amazing what you can save money on. As much as ppl hate me saying this but we stay off site in a condo so we can cook our own meals (ducks from rocks).
Looking forward to getting some help on your disney tips!
My husband would LOVE it if I could swing a trip. He has always wanted to take the kids. I have no interest at all. I can’t imagine having enough to actually go. We can barely afford to see the ILs once or twice a year. LOL!
I’ve been wanting to take my family there. I’ll be following for sure.
We are planning on heading there in the summer of 2013…so excited to read your blog*!!!
Love that with Disney you can make it as affordable or as expensive as you would like and the experience is still the same
I love to get the most for my money and since our kids are not “school age” we can go during most of the value times of the year when the parks are not as crowded. Also, the value times are when some of the best deals/ offers are available!
We want to go in the next couple of years, so will be following!
Beth Ann How do we find out about renting a condo? I am from out of state and have looked but have not found a “reasonable” rate. About how much do you pay and for how long?
Where is the best place to stay at disney?
