DO NOT FEED THESE TO YOUR DOG!
(A Great Option would be Ginger Snaps. Learn more HERE)
THESE are among the chicken treats responsible for killing dogs or making them seriously ill. Vets everywhere are now warning everyone to stop giving your dogs these treats. They are slowly shutting down dog’s kidneys and it is because of something they have in them, still as yet UNKNOWN. The fact that they don’t know what the contaminant is, is why the FDA has not pulled these treats from stores. Do not buy ANY treats made in China, as that is where these contaminated, poisonous products are coming from.
The FDA has received over 600 complaints on these….other brands are Canyon Creek Ranch and DOGSWELL…anyone feeding their dog chicken treats needs to look at the package carefully as the words “Made in China” can be very small…do not be fooled by the phrase “An American Company” they are using in large print!

Is your dog a picky eater? We have a 17-year-old Pekingese, that is NOT ONLY a picky eater, but he also can only have soft food because of his dental work that went horribly wrong. For years we have been softening his hard food with boiling water and then feeding him canned soft dog food mixed with his hard softened dog food. (In case you did not know, MANY canned dog foods that you pay a lot for is simply their dry food with 90% water added and put in a can)
Recently, another couponer suggested to me to give him Cat Food, seeing as there are ALWAYS coupons out there for Cat Food and not often do you find dog food canned food coupons. I loved the idea, but wanted to research it first. SURE ENOUGH, it is perfectly safe! Especially since I mix it with his normal “softened hard dog food.” (Please note cat food is higher in calories, so you would NOT want to put your dog on only canned cat food or they will gain excess weight)
Casper LOVES his new canned cat food, I have MANY more varieties to choose from, and on a plus side I am saving money!
** PLEASE NOTE the required daily nutrition value for dogs is different then for cats, DO NOT make cat food their main diet!
Does your Fur Baby have Diarrhea? Constipated? Or Upset Stomach? Grab a can of PURE (No spices added) canned pumpkin! I have been doing this for years!
Pumpkins are VERY rich in fiber, along with MANY other benefits. Canned pumpkin is rich in dietary fiber and will absorb any excess water in your dogs intestines within hours! So how does it work for constipation also? It softens your dogs stool, eases his stomach pains, and helps him go. (Think of how fiber works for us)
Dosage: Small dogs get one and a half to two teaspoons of canned pumpkin. Larger dogs give two tablespoons. Most dogs will eat it right out of a bowl and think it is a treat.
Pumpkin is also a good source of Vitamin E, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Potassium.
Disclaimer: As always, Make sure you discuss this with your vet and get their approval. Animals can dehydrate VERY QUICKLY, always seek medical attention for your pet.
