Hi everyone, Rita here. Ok I will admit it, I was upset
that my CVS ad did not have the cereal for less then $1 after coupons.
So when I saw this I thought “This will be my deal of the week!”
So I got my coupons ready:
I grabbed my calculator added, subtracted, re-added and
changed items around and because I didn’t have the P&G Gain coupons.
So I was trying to figure out how to get to $30 without going too much over.
I was ready, I had my plan, and the picture below is what I ended
up coming home with because…
sometimes what you plan on buying isn’t always what you end up coming home with.
I did two separate transactions:
Transaction #1:
2 Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner $3.34/each
2 Aussie Shampoo/Conditioner $3.33/each
(They were part of the 3/$10 Deal)
2 Tide Laundry Detergent $5.94/each
1 Nice & Easy Root Touch Up $5.99/each
1 Gain Dish Soap $.99/each
Coupons Used (see photo above):
1 – P&G Coupon $3/2 Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner, 2 – $1/1 Aussie Coupons got
from Aussie Shelf Machine (see picture below), 2 – $2/1 Tide Manufacturer Coupon (I don’t
remember where I got these from exp 6/30), 1 P&G Coupon $2/1 Clairol Hair Color, 1 CVS
Coupon from Coupon Machine for $2/1 Root Touch Up and I
combined the above with $11 worth of previous ECBs from last week.
I paid $8.88 (after tax) and got back $10 ECB
Transaction #2:
1 Cover Girl Eye Shadow (marked 50% off) $2.95/each
1 Tom’s of Maine Deodorant $3.19/each
1 CVS Brand Baby Wipes (marked 75% off) $2.44/each
2 CVS Brand Diapers (marked 75%) $3.12/each
1 Gillette Fusion Shaving Cream $2.37/each**
Coupons Used:
1 – P&G Coupon $1/1 Cover Girl, 1 – Tom’s of Maine $2.50/1 (SS Insert 6/17),
1 – P&G Coupon $1/1 Gillette Fusion Shaving Cream**, 1 – CVS Coupon $2/1 Any Cosmetic Item
(my store was out of the larger size Fusion shaving cream
so they let me substitute the $2.37 size)
I then used my $10 ECB from transaction #1
Paid $.75 (after tax)
Got back $1.00 ECB (from Shaving Cream) and
$2.00 ECB (from Tom’s of Maine)
Total for my shopping trip $9.63 with $3 to spend next time!!!
